In April 2026, SUN Education Malaysia SUN Education Malaysia hosted an exclusive networking session with education leaders from New Zealand.
We were honoured to have several distinguished guests in attendance, including His Excellency Michael Walsh, New Zealand High Commissioner to Malaysia; Ms Niki Menzies and Mr Joshua Lim from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade NZ, and Ms Nurali Bella Wati from Education New Zealand.
The session brought together school counsellors and principals, with the aim of strengthening collaboration between Malaysia schools and New Zealand education partners. We also acknowledged the support of New Zealand universities and pathway partners (University of Otago, University of Waikato, Victoria University of Wellington, University of Canterbury, University of Auckland, Massey University, Massey University College, Lincoln University, Auckland University of Technology, Navitas, Up Education, Cambridge University Press & Assessment, and PTE partners).
The networking session focused on supporting students’ global education pathways and building stronger international partnerships, while reinforcing the shared commitment to creating more opportunities for students to pursue higher education in New Zealand.
We deeply appreciate the support of all participants, including student alumni, parents, school counsellors, principals, and representatives from various schools, whose presence made the session meaningful and impactful.
