Kuala Lumpur & Penang (September 2026)
The 2026 University of York Law Competition, co-hosted with SUN Education Malaysia, was successfully held in Kuala Lumpur and Penang on 15 and 20 September 2026 respectively, bringing together aspiring young legal minds for an engaging experience in law and discussion.
This year’s competition focused on the theme “Legal Challenges in Contemporary Society”, giving students the opportunity to explore contemporary legal issues, develop their arguments, and present their perspectives.
Across both locations, the competition provided a valuable platform for students to showcase their critical thinking, analytical skills and ability to engage with real-world legal challenges.
Congratulations to all the winning teams on their well-deserved achievements, and well done to every participant for their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the competition.
We look forward to seeing more young minds explore their interest in law and take on new challenges in the future!
