Nutri-Smart Challenge: Plan and Pitch

The Nutri-Smart Challenge: Plan and Pitch is a student innovation programme designed to inspire young minds to explore the fundamentals of nutrition, healthy living, and impactful health communication.

This competition aims to spark interest in nutrition and healthy eating among high school students by encouraging them to explore how food influences health and wellbeing. It provides students with a fun and engaging platform to apply nutrition knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking to real-world challenges. Ultimately, the competition seeks to build awareness of healthy dietary habits and inspire future study and careers in nutrition and health.

Theme of the Competition: Healthy Food, Great Future

Round 1:

Nutrition poster/infographic

Create an educational poster/infographic for use in your high school canteen. The objective is to promote healthy eating and food choices.

Poster size: A3 (submit in digital format)

Criteria will include:

Clear key message – language & tone

  1. 1. Tailored to school canteen 
  2. 2. Practicality of advice
  3. 3. Accuracy of nutrition facts
  4. 4. Visual design – Font size, colour, graphics

Nutrition campaign

Create a brief proposal to raise awareness about healthy eating and food choices at high school canteen

Round 2:

1.Nutrition quiz

2.Nutrition campaign proposal pitch (15 minutes per team): Presentation of fully developed proposal from Round 1 activity.
